Contract award for three Turret type Single Point Mooring (SPM)

Petrobras in Brazil has awarded Bluewater an engineering, procurement and construction contract for three Turret type Single Point Mooring (SPM) buoys.

The buoys will be supplied to Petrobras Transporte S.A. (Transpetro), a fully owned subsidiary of Petrobras. Transpetro is the largest oil and gas transportation company of Brazil active in transportation and storage activities of oil and byproducts, ethanol, biofuels and natural gas. It is responsible for a network of more than 14,000 kilometres of oil and gas pipelines, connected to marine terminals and an oil tanker fleet.
The three new turret buoys will replace existing turntable buoys of two different Transpetro terminals, TEDUT and TEFRAN
